the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf has a long tradition of treating international patients. For many years, guests from all over the world have been coming to us to be treated by our renowned professors and doctors.
Our international guests come to us with a wide range of goals and expectations. In this sense, they are no different from our national patients. However, international patients may encounter a number of potential hurdles during and after treatment, in particular administrative, planning and language issues.
The University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf International Office was established to support these patients as far as possible with enquires about treatment, organising appointments, obtaining visas, arranging interpreters, preparing medical reports in different languages etc.
The International Office is the administrative headquarters for international patients.
Our German-, English-, Russian- and Bulgarian-speaking case managers, assure a smooth process for all stays.
