Comprehensive Health Care

Medical services are done in the clinical departments after the International Office has identified the respective clinical department and has organized appointments or dates of admission there.

Medical services are organized as:

Inpatient stay for diagnostic / therapeutic work up – you stay in the hospital over night.

Outpatient stay

  • single appointment / consultation
  • general check up – examinations at several clinical departments
  • outpatient operations and interventions
  • medical consultations for a second opinion either by talk, by e-mail or by internet

Medical services generally include the following steps:

  1. Diagnostical work up - finding out or confirming the type of disease
  2. Therapy work up – curative or palliative (keep a certain level of your life) treatment:

For more details on the diagnostical and therapeutical work up see pdf-file on the left.

If you do not have diagnostic documents from home and/or if the patient is in bad shape or has a severe disease, a complete diagnostic work up needs to be done. The diagnostic work up is done at the international ward where the patient stays over night. Diagnostic work up might last up to 5 days.
